I love all of Misty's products! Not only do I get to help support a friend in something that she is passionate about, but my picky skin gets a treat. Love the beautifully crafted and scented soaps, and the light and fluffy body butter!
I love how the soaps are so bubbly and moisturizing. Normally, I have to slather on lotion after a shower with regular body washes, but not with these soaps!
And the body butters...OMG! So nice and smooth! I love it all! The Soapery is wonderful at combining scents and colors to make each soap unique!
Your soaps are so beautiful, creamy and delicious smelling! The soaps last a long time, have quality ingredients and they have been really good for my sensitive skin issues. I love that the scents are so natural and fragrant that my daughter uses hers as aromatherapy.
I love how therapeutic the scents are and how fantastically moisturizing your soap bars are! The fact that you do your best to source good, ethical ingredients is a huge plus for me! I can't wait to try out your other products, both for humans and pets!
THE STORY OF THE SOAPERY
In late 2019, while on a trip, I noticed that my friend's hands were SO chapped and cracked from a type of eczema that they were bleeding. He got this from washing his hands with harsh chemical soaps from working in the food industry. I remember having this issue myself, and I know countless others who have had the same issue. It got me thinking...I knew the science, I knew the basics...why couldn't I try to make my own soap to help our poor, dried out skin?
So I found a soap recipe and fiddled with it a little, making a couple variations of it, and it worked! By using quality oils, butters, natural components and ingredients, his hands healed over!
I use natural, reliable and respectful products, oils, bio glitter, and a blend of essential and fragrance oils. I also use both natural herbal colorants and natural micas to color my soaps. No dyes or plastic here! All of my soaps are handmade by me, cut by me, and cured 4-6 weeks to ensure that they are both mild enough and hard enough to last in your shower or bath.
I finally found my happy place after many years and after starting and stopping so many hobbies. Now I'm helping more than just my friends and I, and I'm putting my ever-growing knowledge of aromatherapy to use with making soaps that make you FEEL good too!
